Set up in 2018 Performance EV is putting itself forward as the place for EV conversions, builds and modifications focussed on proving that Electric Vehicles and Performance do not need to be mutually exclusive.
This is a place where we want to share the details of our projects and builds, to help demystify some of the more technical aspects of EV drive trains and control.
These projects are a great chance for us to dismantle things the car manufacturers never wanted taken apart and to investigate how they work.
As more and more electric cars reach the market, we get access to an increasing number of different ways these are implemented, we want to get our hands on as many of these, to see how they stack up.
A lot of the components available today are using only a fraction of their potential, we want to try to push these past their current uses closer to what the designs are capable of.
